This is my second pair of Hedgehog Fastpack II WP. When walking and hiking I feel well-supported and comfortable. The waterproof feature lets me shovel snow without getting my big boots on.

Would purchase again My new Hedgehogs shoes fit perfectly, not tight at all. The traction is more than adequate for the foothills I roam. A few years back I bought the first version of these shoes and was pleased then. Nice to see that the quality lives on!

Great walking shoes! I wear boots on rough trails, and these shoes on everything else. Just started my fourth pair, and they always feel great, right out of the box. My beat up old feet love these shoes! The water proofing works great in the rain, and in shallow streams, with no maintainance from me, other than occasionally picking mud out of the treads. They last about a year of daily wear. Comfortable, waterproof shoes that you can take for granted, what more can you ask for.

Great shoes - run a little big though I bought these shoes for my dad and he really likes them when we go hiking. They have good traction and they look pretty good. They are a little heavy and run a little big, but I would say they were worth the money.

Not Wide My original pair of Hedgehog Fastpack WP Wide were the best pair of hiking shoes I've ever owned. They lasted two years of hiking the trails, then they were work shoes for another year. The only thing I changed were the laces. The Hedgehog Fastpack II WP Wide are too tight. I ordered two pair thinking they would be exactly the same as the original pair I owned. Wrong... I had to ship them back and wait 6 weeks for a refund. No fun...

These shoes are pretty comfortable but Theses shoes are very comfortable but they don't hold very well on heels or not very snug the heels. These shoes are good to go hiking but if the trail is steep feels like your shoes about to come off

Bummed Not what I expected. Not a good fit. Squeaked like a dogs toy when you walk and the quality just wasn't there. Returned.

Definitely not wide I bought these for a trip on the AT. I took a month or so to break them in. They caused quite a bit of pain in my feet. At first I just thought it was break in pain, no, this could be the worst design of shoes for hiking I have ever come across. I've owned North Face products that are quality, but these shoes assured me that they are not in the footwear business. I will never buys shoes of any kind from them again. I did not bring them on the AT.

Toe Box Too Constrictive These shoes look very well made and are attractive. They did not fit me well due to the toe box being too constricted. Not sure why any hiking shoe would be designed with a narrow toe box. I was disappointed as I really wanted them to like them.
