We've only had our moccamaster for a short time so far, but I'm incredibly happy with it and impressed by the construction and quality of the machine. I love that it's basic, easy to use, and looks great on the counter too! Plus it doesn't take up a ton of space. The moccamaster has made fantastic tasting coffee and I can honestly tell a difference in the flavor compared to the standard available coffee pots I've always purchased in the past.

2 weeks in and major upgrade from Mr. Coffee drop machine. Better taste and quality than what u get from any local coffee shop. Definitely higher price point for the unit but worth it in quality and from what my research indicates will make up for cost with how long it will hopefully last!

This is absolutely the best coffee pot you will EVER own. Cannot even call it a coffee pot. Makes the best coffee. I had given up on coffee until we got this. Worth every penny!! I own Keurig and Nespresso and this is now only one I use. True coffee taste. Can interrupt for coffee, can make whole or half pots. Amazing! Best part it doesn't keep water stored. What you pour in is what comes through. It is a pour over pot. It is THE BEST!!!

No wonder why it is in the top tier coffee makers list. The finished coffee is so different compared to other coffees i have had. Sobhard to explain unless you've tried making it from this brand. Worth the price esp with its reputation of long-lasting quality.

My sister researched the best coffee makers & purchased the Moccamaster. She raved about it and convinced me it was outstanding. I purchased one about a month ago & it is amazing!!

This is the 5th Moccamaster coffee brewer I have purchased. 4 of them I gave as gifts because of my high regard for the terrific coffee it makes. Really good if you follow the brewing recommendations. The best home brewed coffee I ever enjoyed. I also purchased the Moccamaster grinder. Another great product if you love a perfect fresh grind.

Over priced. plasticky, not special. Avoid.

There are pros and cons. On the plus side, it makes great coffee, does so quickly and keeps it hot without making it taste burnt (thanks to the two temperature settings), and there are no plastic parts releasing dangerous chemicals. On the negative side there are a lot of parts to contend with -- (3) covers to the water reservoir, brewing basket, and coffee pot, plus the arm that sprays hot water over the coffee grinds. Also, the water reservoir is difficult to clean.

I recently replaced our 30 year old moccamaster as the warming light was shot and the metal parts were all in need of replacing. The new one is fine however not as “stout “ due to apparent material cost objectives. The lid on the pot is VERY flimsy and will likely not hold up well….certainly not like our last one! At list price it is overpriced. On sale it is fair. Coffee extraction is very good. Just wish quality was similar to the original!

I was hesitant to buy this with the amount of plastic parts, but with the price being as high as it is, felt it would still be a heavy duty feeling machine. I’m so disappointed in this coffee maker - it genuinely feels like a light, cheaply made, coffee pot you’d buy at Target or Walmart. Im embarrassed I spent as much as I did and I’d really like to return it. It brews nice coffee, but not any different than my (much) cheaper and older machine.

But, for how much you pay, it’s mostly all plastic. It just doesn’t feel quality or sturdy for almost $400. The coffee tastes good but again, no time, no preset options, and $400?! I regret purchasing this machine. It looks nice and it makes coffee. But I have done some research now and there are other options out there that have stainless steel and glass. Save your money and get yourself something that feels built to last.

I’ve had many different brands of coffee makers over the years and I’ve had 3 Moccamaster. Everyone fwmilynvosits they fall in love with the machine and I end up giving them my machine and getting a new one for myself. Super hot super easy and super Delicious- Makes consistent great coffee- there’s no other equal. I just with they would make it in all stainless and glass and get rid of all the plastic. Too much plastic for a 350. 00 machine.

This coffee maker is very light weight and has a cheap feel to it. The plastics are thin, the glass carafe scrapes the hot plate when returning it to the base. For the price we were surprised. You also cannot remove the water reservoir. The biggest frustration for me is there is a large gap where the lid is placed over the water reservoir, allowing dust, bugs or anything to get into your water supply. Bad design and cheap materials, but a high price. Very disappointed.

This machine makes a GREAT cup of coffee! My only disappointment is how lightweight the machine is. I was expecting a little more sturdiness; seems like a lot of plastic. Also, the glass carafe seems like it could break very easily if accidentally bumped into hard surface; seems cheap. At the end of the day, I guess it’s the “inside components” that really matter. Is it worth close to $400? Well, time will tell.
