Positive Highlights (82%)

Best Qled for the value on the market Great picture and colors. Blacks are black. My older Dad says he can see it a lot more plainly than just an LED tv, that this one replaced. He loves it. It will do 1440P at 120Hz also. Games great too.

Negative Highlights (12%)

TV lasted one day, updated fine, then software bricked itself the next day. could not hard reset because it no longer turned on at all.

Worst tv in it's class. If you watch any kind of quality content this is not the tv for you. It is unable to produce clear image without lag when watching any live sports or anything in dolby vision. Bottom line is this tv is not even close to being capable of its 240 native refresh rate My old samsung with a 60hz refresh is so much smoother and never lags when watching sports. Like anything else in this world you get what you pay for. This tv is garbage!

UI is a little laggy but otherwise a solid tv for the price

Pretty good. A bit slow refresh rate which is a bit let off.

Decent TV with drawbacks TV has pretty good picture quality and resolution, but it does show up blurry for the first 30-60 seconds of turning on. It has also closed me out of programs and apps (like Peacock) while i was watching something. It's a great price for an LED tv but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Positive Mentions

The TCL Q6 features a 4K QLED display, meaning you get enhanced colors and better brightness compared to traditional LED TVs.

Thanks to quantum dot technology, the colors are more accurate and vibrant.

Many movies and TV shows look more immersive. This is a big upgrade over standard LED TVs. especially if you watch a lot of HDR content.

Speaking of HDR, the Q6 supports multiple formats, including HDR10 Plus, Dolby Vision, and HLG. This means that whether you are watching content on Netflix, Disney Plus, or other streaming platforms, you'll get improved contrast and richer colors.

Negative Mentions

However, one thing to keep in mind is that the Q6 doesn't have full area local dimming.

Instead, it relies on direct backlighting, which limits its ability to produce deep blacks.

If you watch a lot of movies in a dark room, you may notice that black levels aren't as inky as you would find on a higherend QLED or OLED TVs.
