Samsung S85D OLED Smart TV

Great TV! Bought a new 55 OLED Samsung to replace an older 42 Vizio, where its volume control stopped working and, subsequently, I could no longer hear a program if I tried to munch on potato chips while watching TV!! Love everything about my new Samsung--picture, sound (especially) and its many features!

AMAZING COLOR AND FEATURES! Wow, easy to install and configure TV using QR code, its image is clear, it was an excellent purchase

Nice Picture It has a nice clear picture, and appears to be an overall upgrade over our old Samsung television.

Great picture I chose this model because of the picture, and that did not disappoint. The remote is awful. You can't press the number of the channel you want to show. You have to scroll to choose a channel or fiddle with a clunky on-screen interface. The remote is small and doesn't fit my hand. The number of channels is fewer than my friend's new TCL. I had to buy a special cable to connect my Amazon Firestick. The digital video out does not work with the device I connected the set to.

Best picture quality you can get for the price I'm a big fun of watching high quality videos and playing game at its makes quality. This tv is the best at that and it's also go will with my samsung phone and labtop.

Excellent Much clearer picture than my old samsung tv. Definitely worth the extra $$ for the OLED model

Great picture and sound We bought this TV to replace a previous Samsung Smart TV that was a little smaller. This TV is lightweight, easy to set up...manually and online. Picture and sound quality are great. On my previous Samsung, I had to make a few adjustments to color, brightness, etc when I first got it. I did not have to make any adjustments on this TV. Very happy with it!! (For New Englanders, note that (as of early 2025) the NESN 360 app cannot be installed on a Samsung TV!)

Works Great for my Game system. I love my Samsung Tv. It's been great for the big sports playoff games. Making my house the go-to spot. It also allows me to see everything in first-person camera mode and all the exciting games I play, making the color and action dynamic!

Excellent product I like technology and OLED is the best for its economy, autonomy and above all the image that this TV projects. This model's size, screen refresh, resolution, and sound make it a product worth every dollar paid. In my opinion it is one of the best TVs I have had among the brands that I have been able to have during my years as a viewer. Samsung OLED is far superior to most brands. Excellent work, hoping that soon the prices will be more affordable.

The remote is not user friendly to this senior cit TV shows, movies, sports and local channels via antenna.

Great features Love the picture on this TV. Very slim fit which is what I was looking for. Purchased Samsung wall mount. Perfect with the openings to fit over outlets behind the TV. Was skeptical of the remote without Chanel number choices but it's very simple to operate.

Great TV but… The tv is great! Brightness and color are amazing. Two areas of concern are the lack of an owners manual and the lack of time the installers took to show us how to use it. It was frustrating until another installer came out one week later and showed us how to use it.

Help Picture quality is good but the navigation system is very poorly designed and difficult to to maneuver

Great picture but not user friendly Great picture. Not user friendly, at least for us “mature” folks. Would gladly trade for something easier to operate cause it's a pain in the tail. Very frustrating.

Nothing It has physical set up instructions, but that's all. I figured I'd plug it it (to what?) and see what it did. After 2 days I got logged in to netflix, not without frustration at every stip. It says it has instructions, but I can't find them. I tried to put no stars, but it says stars are required. so I put one, possibly, when I clicked the right star it said I had selected 5. Apparently the survey was designed by the same people that did the TV.

channel changer must point changer away from tv to turn it on or it will turn right back off

The best tv This tv is really good, and reliable. Clear clear clear picture and sound. Love the way the viewing angles are and the remote is not too bad

Fabulous look, slim profile, amazing picture! Had to replace our outdated tv that didn't easily accommodate technology/products. I'm not a very technical-savvy person and it is somewhat of a big learning curve but the features are impressive. I'll have to look for a YouTube vid on using all the remote control bells and whistles. The picture clarity and color is excellent.
