Positive Highlights (85%)

Just what I wanted Everything I wanted in a gaming/productivity laptop. Great performance and cooling, impressive screen quality and of course exceptional build quality. I love the amount of ports this machine has, as well as the feel of the keyboard and track pad. Everything is top notch, the only thing that should be improved is the battery life and maybe the webcam, but that's all, it is worth your money.

Best College/Daily Laptop Absolutely wonderful laptop. Powerful enough to do everything I need from gaming to 3D drawing to coding. This is the perfect college/daily laptop!

Desktop replacement I went from a desktop 1660ti and a 8600k to this Lenovo Legion 3070ti. This has now replaced my desktop for sure! It's fast and easy to carry around compared to a desktop and the build quality is awesome! There's nothing to complain about. If you have questions just watch Jarrods videos on this!

I can finally play and have fun! This is one smooth fast machine! It's even better than I expected which is hard to do these days. I would recommend this computer to anyone looking for a laptop with some serious power!

Screaming fast and awesome capabilities We purchased this to do online streams and video production. It is screaming fast at rendering and pretty much everything else we threw at it. :) Love it.

Excellent laptop One of my favorite tech purchases of all time. This machine is a beast. Runs Cyberpunk at 1440p with ultra settings & ray tracing on at ~60 fps. Impressive for any laptop

Great for Gaming I purchased this Legion because it came with an RTX 3070 Ti specifically for gaming, especially VR gaming. So far it has lived up to expectations. No complaints. This replaces an old PC and a damaged laptop.

Amazing Laptop This laptop is beyond amazing. Gaming is smooth, i regret not buying this laptop before. I enjoy using my laptop for gaming and other tasks. I recommend this brand 1000%

Amazing great laptop. fast and powerful. nothing to complain

Awesome Laptop Awesome Laptop, Gream Performance, Quiet, Reliable

Negative Highlights (10%)

Good laptop. Iffy battery life, but if you intend to use it plugged in it works great

Overall good with a few flaws Works well, durable, but overheats more often than I would prefer. The battery life is also very short.

Good performance, low battery life, ugly lid Good performance for the dollar compared to Razer, MSI, and Aorus. Lower battery life than ASUS but that's a relative concern if not mobile. Ugly large logo lid design. Should be minimal like on Thinkpads or Ideapads. It's tacky and unprofessional. Lack of a microSD built in which is offered by competitors

High end Laptop for a mid-range price Laptop has been great, handles everything I throw at it. The only issue is battery life last 2.5-3hrs on Auto mode, but can't complain the battery life on a gaming Laptop. Worth every dollar and more.

This laptop is excellent. I like the speed of startup and the speed I am able to edit my photos and video footage. The screen makes colour grading so much more accurate. There is also plenty of storage space. The trade off for such a fast laptop is that the battery life is no more than 3-4 hours. Because of this and its weight it is probably not good to travel with. I love everything else about the laptop.

Powerful. Sleek design. Shame about battery life but gaming laptop what do you expect. Still a beautiful rig for the money.

best laptops with latest spec. Although the battery is pretty comprisable, it can be compensated with its state-art resources. Best for gaming. Highly recommended!!!

~1 hour max unplugged browsing the internet... i thought it would be better, it drains so quickly

Positive Mentions

Where the Legion Pro 5 really shines is when it comes to intensive workflows like video editing.

Because of the AMD Ryzen 9000 series processor, you're getting much more performance than you would on the Legion 5.

When I was trying out one of my 1080p timelines, it was absolutely breezing through that whole thing. I could scrub through it. I could move about. It was really responsive.

Negative Mentions

However, because of the more powerful CPU, you probably won't get as much battery life. This thing absolutely chews through battery life.

Because of the bigger screens, fans, stronger CPU, and its tendency to run at a higher clock speed at idle, the battery life will suffer greatly.

I wouldn't be gaming or video editing off battery power here. You can really expect like hour 2 hours max. You know what I mean?
