'Ka-chow!' A near-perfect little build packed with detail, including some lovely brick-built chompers, a whole lot of attitude and just as many stickers--22 stickers, in fact! Despite my having to lay nearly as many labels as pieces, this thing looks so good and is a whole lot of fun to 'swoosh' around, even if it is slightly overpriced. 'Ka-chow, ka-chow!'
A must have for LEGO enthusiasts! The build experience was so much fun. Sure, it has a lot of decals, but I mean, so did Lightening McQueen himself. The decals are great. Take the time to line up the bolts on both sides though. I loved the way the rear window and spoiler came together. The final look, for me, is near flawless. I hope this stays on shelves for a bit so that everyone that wants it can grab one. It will be a very sad day when this one retires.
LEGO 77255 Lightning McQueen nails the nostalgia with a fun, easy Speed Champions-style build and recognisable Pixar Cars details. The 270-piece car looks great on display and appeals to kids and collectors alike. Sticker-heavy graphics and some awkward shaping hold it back slightly, but overall it’s a rewarding, cheerful set.
This set is very good. However, there are almost no prints and soooo many stickers (so if you find it difficult to place stickers then this set is not for you). However, this set has masterful building techniques and hidden details which make the build experience AMAZING! If you are a fan of the Cars™ franchise then this set is perfect for you! Not too much playability - and so I wouldn't recommend it for young children.
Building Experience:simple but quite detailed Quality:legit LEGO, parts are complete and in prestine condition. It's a great build. The details are on point and the quality is prestine. One tiny detail i wish was changed though are those brick tiles popping up the sides of the hood, LEGO could've just went with flat tiles (used for covering), besides that it's great overall.
Once completed this is cracking little build. The level of detail is fantastic and it really does look like Lightning McQueen. If you're a fan of the Cars films then this set is for you. Or if you're like me just love the Speed Champions sets this will be a good addition to your collection.
Ka-Chow! The king of all speed champion builds has arrived and in some style. Great build with great detailing a welcome addition to the speed champions edition. Would love to see some more cross overs from the cars franchise arrive. Great stock at Argos with all their usual benefits of collection or delivery.
The detailing on the build is lovely it takes a perfect amount of time. The build is brilliant and looks excatly as the picture shows so is an authentic product and isnt too complex. The dimensions are good for the price, shocked a collaborated lego was so cheap.
I like the lightning McQueen set because Cause of the building ability and also how detailed it looks and how it was easy to build with the Lego app and the furniture products as it should have been and it looks brilliant
The details are great. The car is awesome, but the pieces come apart to easy. The build quality is great. I would have liked more stickers. Come on his nick name is stickers!

Build quality:lego quality, top notch Safety:yep got a discount voucher on this so i finally got it! the build is pretty fun and basic, i think the formula one cars are more difficult. it looks way better in real life than the pictures i’ve seen online tbh. the stickers are a pain. parcel came bubble wrapped but there is no box to cover the lego box so it was a little bit precarious, but everything came fine without damage.
I love this set it was a day one pick up I don’t mind the Stickers in this set as well His nickname in the cars universe is stickers I hope this is not the only cars in the speed champions line I hope we get at least 2 more Tow Mater and Doc maybe Sally and I had a lot of fun with 270 pieces build with no Minifigures as I don’t care for mini figures (with a few exceptions)
Very amazing set, super fun having it under the speed champions line. Only complaint is there is a lot of stickers, although the stickers are fitting considering his nickname in the movies being “stickers”
My 4 year old son loves this. With some help from me he put it together confidently. He absolutely loved doing the stickers and hasn’t stopped playing with it since finishing.

Positive Mentions
Let me tell you, the build experience for this was very good because, well, you actually build it.
Even undercarriage detail is built here.
It feels completely completely unique. The build for it was nothing like any of the others that uh that I personally have gotten my hands on, which is all of them.
Negative Mentions
However, better question is why does this cost the same as sets that come with a minifigure or now sets that come with two minifigures and that otherwise are the same?
Some of these come with two minifigures. They've just raised the prices. They kept that raised price on this and it doesn't feel like they reinvested that anywhere other than just filling it up with extra pieces on the inside, which were fine.
So, this one feels overpriced.
And yeah, just just the the price is really the the big issue.
The price and then the sticker right here especially.
Uh, but yeah, price is the the biggest thing.
