Edifier R1280T Powered Bookshelf Speakers

I completely disagree with not loud. This is my second lot, as I wanted for another room for my music (guitars) . The sound is very clear and does not effect the true mixed sounds I need when playing my guitar. They look really nice as well, but I bought them as I know how good they are. So I buy with confidence. As for the service from overcloclkers second to none, delivered on time,best price, and well packaged. Steve

These speakers are the best I've ever had on a computer/laptop. Sound quality outstanding, crisp highs and exceptional bass for it's size. I would highly recommend them for someone looking for great bookshelf speakers.

Excellent speakers for the money, as you get older and your hearing gets poorer I can think of little reason to spend more money on expensive speakers for everyday use! Being powered opens up more options for use, extremely pleased with the speakers and the service and helpful advice received from Richer Bristol

This product has excellent sound and works as expected. You can turn the volume up fairly loud without any distortion. Excellent value for money.

I’ve been using the Edifier speakers for a few months now, and they’ve been excellent. The sound quality is clear, well-balanced, and surprisingly powerful for their size—great for music, movies, and even light mixing. Setup was super simple; I had them plugged in and working within minutes. The build quality also feels premium, and they look great on my desk. Would highly recommend. Bought these after our soundbar died. They sound twice as good as the old soundbar and subwoofer, which originally cost us 2 or 3 times as much as these speakers. Clean sound, reasonable bass, reasonable sound stage. Go plenty loud enough. If I listened to these without knowing the price I would have guessed $300 - $400, not $150

These speakers sound fantastic, but they are small - so it is definitely best to use the sub out and add a good subwoofer if you want strong bass. The treble and mid range sounds excellent.

Bought these expecting better sound than a cheap sound bar. The 4 speaker in combination with the box does a very good job on mid and lower frequencies, given de price, size and weight. The tweeter feels hefty enough but is drowned out by the woofer. Highs are just not there, something the tone controls can't fix. However, it is very useful together with my flatscreen TV speakers, so I am happy after all.

One day arrived! Will definitely buy something from this seller again! After watched a lot of reviews from different sources and decided to give it a try. High is sounds crispy and mid bass is on point as well. Only low bass isn't as strong as making your floor shake like earthquake.

I'll keep this short. These are amazing speakers for highs and mids but lack bass. I needed to get a separate subwoofer and good soundcard to really get the sound these speakers are capable of making.

The bass is very good, but the mid-range and treble are severely lacking, even with the treble adjuster. Could be my laptop, I don't know.

These speakers are OK, they're not as incredible as the reviews claimed. Yes, they work great and provide excellent sound if you're using them in a small space. If you want to turn on your music in the other room while washing dishes or cooking, you will be disappointed as the sound doesn't travel well. These are not the speakers you want if you like to blast your music or if you listen to a lot of bass.

Disappointed with sound quality These are nice looking speakers and the sound isn't bad, but the bass is a bit muddy and the overall sound just isn't as crisp and clear as the higher-end speakers.

Worth buying The Edifier R1280T Good treble but falls a little short on bass but the sound has good clarity. They are not very loud but good enough for what I wanted them for. All in all, they are worth the money.
