5.0 out of 5 stars. I like the look, feel and price of this shoe.Very comfortable.

Over the years one of my knees has become prone to injury and I have different pronation on each foot. I have tried various running shoes (sometimes different shoes on each foot, sometimes the same shoes with different insoles). Once I tried the Brooks Glycerin shoes all that changed, really comfortable out of the box and very easy on the knees. I'm on my forth pair, hope they never change.

Brooks Glycerin 20 is a fantastically designed running shoe. The breathability is high. The cushioning is extremely well balanced - it is soft without being squishy. The toe-box is roomy. And it manages all of these while staying light and durable. Best for easy runs and keeping up with your mileage. Makes me Run Happy :)

I started wearing Brooks Glycerins back in 2019. I like the wide toe box. They are light weight and comfortable. I have arthritis in my knees and these offer superior cushioning. I don't run as many miles as I used to, but this shoe is ready for the long haul.

DAC: Run and casual all-day strolls in amusement parks. Extremely cushioned. I am 71 and 290 lbs with 13W-great support for ankles. I am flat-footed with nearly no arch. I have owned them for two years, and the sole is tough.

Super comfortable and they fit my orthotics. I like that the base of the shoe is coloured black rather than white or another colour. It makes the shoe look a little bit less obtrusive when you want to wear them with jeans, without drawing attention to the fact that you are wearing your running shoes.

My husband has extremely sensitive feet and suffers from plantar fasciitis, fallen arches and gout. These are one of the most comfortable pairs of shoes he’s had! These shoes don’t have quite high enough arches for him although they are much better than other shoes he’s tried. They should have better QC though, one shoelace is so short that it’s hard to tie which is unacceptable as expensive as these shoes are.

This is my first proper running shoes so i was nervous to buy it. However, once i ran with it, i could feel the difference to old shoes and it was comfortable and cushiony. I was planning to use for only running but now it became my daily shoes too because it is really comfy to walk about too, so i might need to buy another pair.

Bought these shoes a month ago for long distance walking (5-7 miles a time), 4 times a week. These shoes combined with Merino wool socks provide so much cushion. Shoes provide great support. Feet feel great after use and are not sore at all.

2nd pair of Ghost 13's and they have both been great for me. I'm a veteran with bad knees, back, and one ankle and they have helped me prepare for my first marathon. The fit is good and they remain comfortable throughout each run. My last pair had about 600 miles of treadmill running and the soles barely looked used. The rear cushion at the achilles wore out first, which is also just starting to indicate wear on my newer pair (about 300 miles).

Negative Highlights (10%)

For some reason Ghosts have gotten firmer since the Ghost 11. Disappointing. I switched to Hoka's, Bondi, and Speed Goat to get the cushion I need, and went back to try Ghosts again, only to find that the firmness is here to stay. These are just not even close to the cushion the Ghosts I used to have. Not only that, but the shoes seem smaller in length. Now my big toe rubs on the inside edge. Firmer and shorter. Major disappointment.

Looks and feels good I followed the size charts for 8.5 US and ordered a 7.5 UK true feel is a size 8 US. I'm going to keep them and just hope the toe stretches just a bit. The brand is great and will be ordering again. We love the color

My biggest complaint about Brooks shoes is the lack of consistent sizing from year to year, and model to model. I wear a size 14 running shoe, and the Ghost 13 fit was at least 1 size too small, if not more. It's frustrating when I find a model whose fit and feel meet my needs, yet when I reorder the size is now running smaller. I also find it interesting that they never run larger, always smaller. This seems to be happing more and more, and I wish Brooks would improve their quality control.

I've been running with Brooks for some time now, always with a size 10.5. Ordered these in 10.5 and they were tight. felt slightly shorter in length and tighter in midfoot. Not sure if this is just my experience as I am comparing my current brooks ghost to these or this is the case of glycerin in general. Otherwise, these seem super well built and a ton of padding. As long as sizing is correct, I am sure these are great shoes to run in.

Fits half size down. Normally wear 10 1/2. But 11 fits better. Great light weight. Good for wide foot. Ankle support and great cushion.

Very happy with these - I use them for walking (not running) daily. They are comfy, well cushioned, and support my feet. Also happy with their overall appearance - love the pattern and colors, though the sides of the soles look chunkier than I like. What caught me off guard is that I had to go up a half size from what I've been wearing in Brooks runners for the past decade.

had the glycerin 17, really liked them and sometimes when you go up the next few years the manufacturer changes things and the shoe is too different. This fits and feels even better than the 17's, different sole and seems more cushy yet supportive. Bottom of the tread has small cut out to relieve heel pain, feet feel like I am walking in heaven. I normally wear a 6.5 but for Brooks need a 7. Accommodates orthotics well

Great shoe. Compared to the 19, I find the toe box more roomy, as well as the top of the foot. Much lighter, too. Bought two pairs actually, one for marathon training, the other for work as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting. Have used for over a month now, and obviously still satisfied. Long term breakdown, who knows, but I am loving these for my feet in both aspects now. In regards to size, I am an 8.5, which is usual for Brooks, but Hoka’s a 7.5-8, and New Balance an 8.0.

Very comfortable, cushy sneakers. They do run big, per some other reviews. In Brooks I usually wear a 9.5, but these were a little too wide and long. Unfortunately the size 9 was not available in my color choice, so I will try again when available.

I was disappointed in these shoes as not only was the toe area too narrow for a wide shoe but they didn't feel as padded or as comfortable as my New Balance Fresh Foam 880V12's. I expected a lot more for all the hype. One has to actually wear a shoe on their normal route in order to test it and of course that makes them unreturnable. I wish I would have bought another pair of my New Balance instead.

Critical Issues (3)

1

Some users report that the shoelaces are too short, making them difficult to tie properly.

2

Some users find the heel collar stiff or too close around the ankle, making entry into the shoe troublesome.

3

Some users had problem with the heel support at the back of the ankle collapsing when putting on the shoe.
