I've been really impressed with the Mac Mini overall. For such a compact device, it packs a serious punch in terms of performance. It handles everything I throw at it with ease, and the small footprint means it fits perfectly on my desk without taking up much space. I honestly think the Mac mini M4 is Apple’s best product yet. It’s small, affordable, and unbelievably fast thanks to the M4 chip. I edit videos in Premiere Pro and it just flies through them without lag. My advice: don’t waste money upgrading the internal storage, just grab an external SSD and work straight from that. Unless you’re handling terabytes of files every day, the base model is more than enough. Add in AO’s excellent service and you really can’t go wrong.

Very pleased with my move to Apple after being a lifelong Windows user! Bought this as my old PC could no longer run Adobe Lightroom, and moving to a Mac seemed a good idea based on articles and reviews. So far so good. It’s easy to set up. Very fast and deals with Lightroom seamlessly. The only downside of course is the small size of hard disc, which means having external drive(s) (which I already had) essential. Otherwise very happy move from Windows to IOS.

This is a great compact but powerful computer. It was purchased primarily for editing photographs. I was upgrading from an old iMac which, unfortunately, would not accept the latest version of the iOS which I needed to get the full benefit from the latest version of Photoshop. The reason for the four stars is that, for me, 512 gigabytes of disc space is just not enough as I have thousands of photographs.

A great little Mac for all your computing needs! It's small but powerful, easily enough for day-to-day computing. It looks fantastic on the desk as well. One thing to mention - 256gb storage might be a bit small for some, add an external SSD rather than spend more on upgrading the internal drive.

The Mac mini M4 is a great product, taking up a tiny space on the desk, while packing quite a punch. I bought a matching hub to expand the input options and storage capacity; 256 GB is good for a suite of applications, but files (and Time Machine for back-ups) need more space. Adaptors are needed for any ‘legacy’ USB connections, unless a suitable hub is added.

My old MBP is 8 years old now and I didn't really use it for much. Prefer sitting at my desk these days so opted for the Mac Mini this time round. John Lewis were the cheapest of anyone around, I would say for your average user, this is moooooooore than enough. If you want more storage you can slap on an external SSD, but for me, 256gB/16gb RAM is more than enough. I genuinely love how compact it is, you don't get a KBM though, however, I have a port adapter so my windows KBM work with it.

The M4 Mac Mini is super fast, out performing my Ryzen 9 16gb laptop hands down. I use it for photo and video editing, which depending upon the software and task you are doing, now takes a fraction of the time my other systems would take to render. My only advice would be to consider the next size storage up, unless you know how to work with external storage efficiently. Great way to get a super fast Mac at half to a third of the price of a standard system.
